KZESO Containerised Rail Welding Solutions transform proven flash-butt rail welding technology into a complete, protected and transportable production system. Instead of assembling power, hydraulics, cooling, controls and welding-head handling separately at the work site, the essential subsystems are engineered as one integrated solution around the selected KZESO welding machine.
The result is a highly versatile rail welding platform that can be deployed for on-track work, positioned at a project base or welding yard, or integrated with a suitable road, rail or road-rail carrier. The container protects critical equipment during transport and operation while providing organised service access, controlled subsystem integration and the autonomy required for demanding railway construction, renewal and industrial rail welding projects.

A KZESO containerised complex is built as an integrated welding environment. The selected welding machine is combined with the supporting systems required to position the head, execute the welding cycle, manage heat and hydraulic loads, control the process and support autonomous operation.

Power & Operational Autonomy
Where autonomous operation is required, the container can integrate diesel power generation and fuel infrastructure sized for the selected welding system. KZESO reference container configurations for K900, K920 and K922-1 use a self-contained architecture with diesel generation, hydraulic pumping, chiller-based cooling, control cabinets and welding-head handling equipment.
Welding-Head Handling
An integrated hydraulic crane-manipulator allows the welding head to be moved between its transport position and the rail. In the current K900 / K920 / K922-1 reference architecture, the crane is rated for 4,000 kg, reaches up to 3,930 mm and provides a vertical movement range from -5° to +120°. Standard slewing is ±22.5°, with wider project-specific slewing available where engineered for the application.
Protected, Serviceable Container Architecture
The container is designed to protect critical welding and auxiliary equipment while keeping the system accessible for inspection and maintenance. Project configurations can separate generator, hydraulic, control, cooling and welding-machine zones; incorporate access doors, ventilation, lighting, lifting points and weather protection; and organise hoses, cables and service interfaces for efficient field operation.

What is a KZESO containerised rail welding solution?
It is a complete rail welding system in which the selected KZESO welding machine and the required hydraulic, cooling, control, handling and power subsystems are integrated into a protected transportable container architecture.
Which KZESO welding machines can be integrated?
The solution can be engineered around selected KZESO mobile machines, including K900 A-1, K900T, K920, K922-1, the K930 / K945 / K950 / K955 family and K1067, as well as K1000 / K1100 stationary welding technology in a dedicated three-container architecture. Final applicability is confirmed for the project.
Does the system require an external power supply?
Not necessarily. Where autonomy is required, KZESO can integrate diesel power generation sized for the selected welding machine and auxiliary systems. External-power configurations can also be engineered.
How is equipment protected in difficult field conditions?
The container architecture protects critical systems and can incorporate sealed enclosures, ventilation, lighting, controlled cooling, filtration and project-specific climate or safety measures. Final environmental limits are defined for the supplied configuration.
Can the system be customised?
Yes. KZESO configures the welding machine, rail tooling, power concept, crane geometry, cooling, controls, container layout and auxiliary systems around the customer’s rail profile, production target, transport method and site conditions.
Can the same container be used as a stationary welding station?
Yes. Depending on the selected machine and site arrangement, the container can operate as a stationary or semi-stationary welding system at a depot, project base or production yard.
How can the container be transported?
Depending on the engineered configuration, it can be relocated by crane and transported on a suitable truck, flat wagon or platform. Carrier interfaces and transport compliance are confirmed for the destination market and project.
How is the welding head positioned on the rail?
Containerised mobile-machine configurations can use an integrated hydraulic crane-manipulator. The current K900 / K920 / K922-1 reference architecture uses a 4,000 kg crane with up to 3,930 mm outreach.
What information is needed for a proposal?
Provide the rail profile and grade, required productivity, operating environment, preferred welding machine if known, transport / carrier concept, available power, site restrictions and applicable project standards. KZESO will define the appropriate system architecture.
